Kristian Lindberg

Founder & Editor-in-Chief

Kristian Lindberg founded Supplete in 2025 and serves as its Editor-in-Chief. He is responsible for editorial standards, topic selection, evidence review and everything published on the site.

Background

Supplete began as a personal project. As a supplement user trying to make informed decisions, I kept running into the same problem: confident claims with no citations, and commercial interests behind most of the sources ranking well. So I started reading the primary research myself — full texts, not abstracts — and writing up what it actually said, including the parts that undercut the popular story.

My focus is methodical, evidence-first research: reading primary studies in full, weighing how strongly the evidence actually supports a claim, and reporting findings — including their limitations — in clear, plain language. For medical questions specific to your own situation, Supplete always points readers to a qualified healthcare professional.

Editorial role

As Editor-in-Chief, Kristian:

  • sets and maintains Supplete's editorial standards and evidence-grading system
  • selects topics and defines the scope of each guide
  • oversees research and verifies claims against primary sources
  • reviews dosage figures, safety statements and regulatory information before publication
  • decides when articles are updated or corrected
  • is accountable for all published content

Editorial independence

Kristian has no financial relationship with any supplement manufacturer or brand that could influence Supplete's coverage. Supplete sells no products, and its recommendations are not for sale: no brand can pay for a rating or favourable review, and any advertising or affiliate income is brand-neutral and independent of editorial conclusions.
